Read MoreJamie Bayliss, PT, MPT, DHSc is an Assistant Professor & Director of Clinical Education for the physical therapy program at Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, Ohio. She earned her Master’s in physical therapy from Mount St. Joseph University and her Doctor of Health Sciences from the University of Indianapolis. She teaches in the areas of professional issues, clinical education, Special Topics, all temporomandibular joint function and dysfunction and orthopedics. She has been involved in clinical education for nearly 15 years, having served as a credentialed CI (through the APTA) and CCCE prior to her current role in academia. She is an engaged member in the APTA, as well as the Ohio-Kentucky Consortium of Physical Therapy Education, where she served two terms as secretary and currently as co-chair. Dr. Bayliss is also serving in the role of secretary on the executive board of the National Consortium of Clinical Educators (NCCE). Ms. Bayliss’s research interests include determining trends in student performance that will guide program policies, identify students at-risk, offer opportunities for student remediation, and to ensure student readiness for clinical education. Read MoreAmy Both, PT, DPT, MHS is an Assistant Professor & the Director of Clinical Education at The University of Toledo. She earned her DPT Program from Arcadia University; her Masters of Health Science in Pediatric Physical Therapy from the University of Indianapolis and her entry-level PT degree from The Ohio State University. Dr. Both is an APTA-credentialed clinical instructor and was a trainer for the APTA Clinical Instructor Education and Credentialing Program from 1998-2002. She is an active member of the Ohio-Kentucky Consortium of PT Programs for Clinical Education and has been serving as the co-chair since 2013. Dr. Both teaches in the areas of clinical education, foundations of the profession and professional issues, teaching and learning, and pediatrics, in the University of Toledo’s DPT curriculum and serves as an affiliated faculty for the Graduate Certificate in Teaming in Early Childhood program.
