  1. An Overview of Hop Testing After ACLR
Recent research has identified that many athletes who return to sport following ACLR do not fully clear return to sport testing. Additionally, these individuals are at a higher risk of secondary injury with long term risk for development of osteoarthritis. This course intends to provide clinicians with a base understanding of the importance of return to sport testing and the current research for hop testing.
    Learning Objectives:
    - Understand the risk factors/epedimiology of secondary injury following ACLR
    - Understand implementation and scoring of current hop testing procedures
    - Identify areas where research is developing for new/expanded tests

  2. Blood Flow Restriction Training and Physical Therapy
The use of Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) training has been used for many years for training athletes to improve muscle hypertrophy without the use of increased loads. However, in recent years, the use of BFR has become more prevalent in research and has now started to cross over into physical therapy rehabilitation. This course is designed to distinguish the use of BFR in physical therapy, precautions and contraindications, and how this may impact rehabilitation moving forward.

  3. Pelvic Floor Health for the Female Athlete
Leaking with exercise is so common it has been normalized. But it is NOT normal. Up to 80% of female athletes report episodes of incontinence during activity. To combat this problem, women may unhealthily restrict water intake, decrease activity or avoid athletic activity altogether. To keep our clients active, we need to address the root cause of the leakage. This session will highlight the roles the diaphragm, multifidus, pelvic floor muscles, transversus abdominis, and glottis play in pressure management and provide dynamic strategies to manage dysfunction in the active population.
